Poetry Slam Challenge 11: The Boom Boom Man

Ah the poetry slam, it's back and I am glad of it!! Here is my wee entry!

If I put it in a bottle

And throw it out to sea

But neglect to put my name on it

Will you know that it's from me?

Would that even matter

As you fished it from the deep

A letter sent, a message held

For you to read and keep

But when you read the content

The words that I lay bare

You'll know me then for who I am

Oh yes I do declare!

For I write that I am coming

My vengeance will be swift

This prison can't contain me

And it's fair to say I'm miffed

So pack your bags you scurvy dogs

Or hide beneath your beds

The boom boom man is coming

And he means to take your heads!
