A Poem - Princess Diana
Oh Diana hater of royal pigs
Squeezed from above
Forced to play make believe
With a golden heart you rode
Around the world doing good
The Queen's eyes watched ashamedly
Too much empathy
Too much human
You had to go
The royal leeches would not have you
When they took you
One thing was left
The one thing they hated about you
The thing they tried to stop
Your love
Oh dirty Diana
You were cut above above the royal trash
We'll crush the lizards you despised
A gift for the truest Queen
Because you were and still are a true Queen of the people

On point.
Ouch. That's biting! What a beautiful woman she was, caught in a corrupt world.
Did I even know you wrote poetry? You should join us in the poetry workshop over in MSP @riskdebonair! 😃
MSP??
The Minnow Support Project (MSP) has a discord channel, and I'm a mini-mod in their poetry workshop. If you're interested, I can find you a link.
Yeah sure. I've been a bit busy recently moving around, but should be settled and more free soon.
OK, if you'd like to stop by here's the link: https://discord.gg/XUNnExr We can always use another good poet chiming in!
