ভোর হতে না হতেই
ক্ষিদে পায় আমার
চায়ের অথবা কবিতার ক্ষিদে।
আমি তখন গোগ্রাসে চা গিলি
যা মনে আসে তাই লিখি
কবিতার খাতা খুলে বসি
নরম আলোয় পাই পরম তৃপ্তি।
নিজেকে আমি আলোয় রাখি
চাই তুমিও আলোয় খেলো
সকলের দিন হোক রঙে ভরা
এটাই হোক সবার প্রার্থনা।

মনের অন্তরালে এক বিস্তীর্ণ পথ,
কখনো সমান্তরাল
ওই রেললাইনের মতন।
কখনো সেখানে প্রেম আসে
কবিতার সাথে কবির,
সেই প্রেমে ভেসে যায় মন
উড়ে চলে আমার মনের মস্ত চরাচর।
এমন ক্ষণে মন শুধু বলে
এসো কবি, এসো
উড়ে এসো মুক্ত বিহঙ্গের ডানায়
তুমি শুধু তুমি, আমার কবিতায়।
