মেঘের নিচে শহরতলী,
বৃষ্টি ভেজা বিকেলটাতে
ভিজছে মনের অলিগলি।
মেঘের খামে উড়োচিঠি
চিঠির ওপর ধূসর মলাট,
একটু প্রেমের ছড়াছড়ি
মেঘ বৃষ্টির এ তল্লাট।
গুঁড়িগুঁড়ি বৃষ্টির বিকেল
আর প্রেমের মিষ্টি গান,
এই শ্রাবণে আমি যেনো
এক নতুন অন্ত প্রাণ।

আরো গভীরে ডুব দাও,
শরীর যখন ক্ষীণ থেকে ক্ষীণতর
কাস্তে চাঁদ ধীরে ধীরে মিশে যায়
আকাশের বুকে, ধৈর্য ধরো..
উৎকণ্ঠার, অপেক্ষার দীর্ঘ প্রহর শেষে
অন্ধকারকে ছিঁড়ে ফেলবেই আলো।
নিজেকে সময় দাও
কোলাহল শেষ হলে,
সবাই ছেড়ে যেতে পারে
নিজ অস্তিত্বকে ভুলো না কখনো।
