রাত্তিরে মিললো না চাঁদ,
অমাবস্যা যেনো আজকাল;
প্রতিদিনকার দিন-রাত।
অনুভবে দেখি সূর্য
কল্পনায় দেখি চাঁদ,
আবেগের চুম্বন করে;
এ যেনো সাক্ষাৎহীন বন্ধুত্বের গান।
প্রকৃতির আত্মজীবনী
লেখার প্রয়াস জাগে যখন,
আকাশতলে নিজের সাথে;
কিছু সময় কাটাই তখন।

নীরব সময়েও জাগে জয়
তাকিয়ে দেখো কত আশার রশ্মি
আল্লাহর রহমতে—
নেই কোনো ঘন আঁধার রাশি।
নিজেকে চেনাটাই সত্যিকার
চোখে রেখো না রাগ, মুখে রেখো না বিষ
নরম হৃদয়ে বাঁচো—
সেই তো আশীর্বাদ-মিশ্র নিঃশ্বাস
শান্তি চাইলে রেখো সত্য মন
তাতেই পাবে পরম শান্তির ক্ষণ।
