সপ্ত সিন্ধুর জল,
তোমার মনও চাইছে
একটা সুরম্য পথ।
গন্তব্য যতদূরই হোক না কেন
হোকনা যতই অচেনা,
পথ তো মানুষের
পায়ের কাছেই দেয় ধরা।
তবু মানুষ ভয় নিয়ে বলে
আর কোন পথ নেই,
অথচ, পা ফেললেই পথ
পথের শুরু তো পা ফেললেই।

প্রশ্নেরা করছে খেলা,
নীল আকাশ ঢাকে কালো মেঘে
এতো কেন অবহেলা।
পৃথিবীটা হচ্ছে দিশেহারা
সুখেরা করছে মিছিল,
ঠিকানা হারিয়ে মানুষ যেন আজ
আঁধারে ছুঁড়ছে ঢিল।
অনুভূতিগুলো অভিভূত হয়ে
দাঁড়ায় সম্মুখে আজ,
আশাগুলো সব আশাহত হয়ে
ভুলছে সকল লাজ।
