চুপচাপ বসে মন একা
হাঁটুর ওপর হাত, চোখে নীরবতা
ভেতরে কোথাও বাজছে কি কথা।
ক্লান্ত, উদাস মন
যেন বলছে বারে বারে
জীবনের সব হিসেবনিকেশ
ছেড়ে দাও দেয়াল ঘড়িটাতে।
বাতাস থেমে যায়
চোখে সময় থমকে দাঁড়ায়
যেন শুষে নেয় যতো ব্যথা
যা ছিল গোপন খাতায়।

সময় চলে নিজ ছন্দে
দিন গড়িয়ে রাত—
আলো ঢেকে যায় অন্ধকারে।
কিন্তু জমে থাকে কিছু কথা
একটা হাসি, একটু ছোঁয়া
স্মৃতির পাতায় রেখে যায়
গভীর আঁচড়ে নীরবতা।
মৌন রজনীর চন্দ্রালোকে
কবিতায় নেমে আসে তার রূপ
মন দর্পণে আঁকা যেন
অজস্র নীরব শব্দের কূপ।
