RE: For The Love Of A Flower | Original Poetry

in #poetry7 years ago (edited)

I'm no botanist, @llfarms, but that looks like a black-eyed Susan. If I'm wrong, well, I'm no...

It's inspiring that this neglected flower didn't accept life in the shade. Uprooting is never easy, but now it can bloom to its full potential under the warmth of the sun, with its seeds due for the same fertile soil.

So with my last breath, they catch the breeze just in the nick of time, off to find their place in the world.. just as I say goodbye to mine.

What a powerful line.

P.S. Don't settle until you get your coffee in bed someone who surprises you with a coffee maker for your bedroom.

It is a black eyed Susan yes! They remind me of sunflowers.. one of my favorites. I snapped this on a nature walk one day it’s a special one to me.

Flowers are resilient and will carry on ❤️

Thank you and the coffee maker part made me laugh out loud
