অমানুষের ভিড়ে
নমস্কার বন্ধুরা,
একজন মানুষ কবিতায় আশ্রয় নেয় একটা কারণে সেটা মনের দাবিতে।মন ঘোরে সময়ের নিষ্প্রয়োজনে।তাই কবিতায় জীবন এগিয়ে যায়।
মানুষ মরে, রক্তে ভেজে রাজপথ—
কিন্তু তার ঠোঁটে হাসি, ক্যামেরার সামনে কৃত্রিম সংবেদনার ছায়া,
তার ভাষণে থাকে দেশপ্রেমের ধোঁয়াশা,
আর চোখে— কাচের মতো ঠান্ডা নিষ্ঠুরতা।
সে জানে কিভাবে ইতিহাসকে লিখতে হয়
নির্বাচনের ব্যালটে নয়, বন্দুকের মুখে।
সে জানে কিভাবে মৃতদেহকে পরিণত করতে হয়
একটা সংখ্যা, একটা পরিসংখ্যান, একটা লাইনের নিচে গুটিয়ে ফেলা প্রতিবাদ।
নদী শুকিয়ে যায়, গাছ কাটা পড়ে,
আর মায়েরা সন্তান হারিয়ে একফোঁটা নীরব কান্নায় ভেঙে পড়ে—
তবুও সে বলে, “উন্নয়নের পথে দেশ অগ্রসর!”
তার চশমার কাঁচে ধরা পড়ে না মানুষের চোখের জল।
সে শাসক নয়, সে এক সফল অভিনেতা—
সংবিধানকে নিজের মঞ্চ বানিয়ে রোজ অভিনয় করে চলে,
আর আমরা— দর্শক হয়ে তাল দিই,
অন্ধকার প্রেক্ষাগৃহে বসে বাঁচার ভান করি।
কিন্তু মনে রেখো,
যে গর্জে না সে চিরকাল চুপ থাকবে না—
প্রতিটি থমকে যাওয়া নিঃশ্বাস একদিন
বিস্ফোরণ হবে ধ্বংসের আগে নবজন্মের।
