ghosting through life she
sets her metabolic time capsule to
subatomic philosophic
overload

rides poltergeist shotgun on the highway
renegotiates her net worth
in a life time spent working inside
parentally preconcieved programs
virtual nightmare obligations

of facsimile minute reasoning
of expectational pleasing
of incremental teasing
gone awry

divebombs online jive those
real-time apps appeal to her
more than life or goons or drugs

hooking she throws her monkey
wrench into the span of a day
hoping to get a gut reaction
from any conscious man-euver
masturbating over the fantasy of her
contrived depilatory lips
locked in tight skin lace

drifts in metaphoric soporific perambulations
copping hidden emotional angst at will
to make her feel

alive

failed anger management contestant
coinciding within a would be reality
tv show canned for lack of interest she

longs to become driftwood
floating on your tongue
scribbles out her name then
floats away

like a lemming she
jumps over
into an ever widening miasma
of mediocrity

society had pre-reckoned her deadening
before she knew how to live

    Your second stanza was my favorite overall this poem is fantastic. The whole way through reading it I was captivated and stunned at how poignant it is with people who I've observed in those mind traps "real-time apps" as you've spoken, excellent work. :)
