Trust blinds (poetry)
Trust is the glue that binds,
that finds and seals the gaps in us…
that peels away layers and repairs us!
Trust tares tears from broken souls,
moulds them anew through fire,
torment and lament, at times.
Trust forges catharsis stoked by bellows,
in eddies of grief that fuel
cycles of renewal.
Trust breeds the capacity to accept,
to let go of a net of ideas
untangle the mind of fears
to truly be free.
Trust opens doors,
trust ends wars,
in the labor of trust
love is born.
Trust builds bridges
over frigid gulfs of time.
Trust is the sublime rendering
of the unending dance to be free,
the purest expression
that fundamentally
there's no difference
in you and me.
Trust lives at the heart of the lotus -
between the flower's stamen and Bee.
Together they build the cornerstones of life,
an expression of eternal prescience,
whole ecosystems founded by plants with insects,
trust is as exquisite as the wave crest
that gleams in the shimmer of sunbow,
trust is at the heart of humankind's dreams,
it is the heart of what we all want to know.
