Dream journalling is surely a very good habit to cultivate, I appear to have a very similar dreaming experience to yours, and in this case I did it just like you describe here: i woke up, felt like I need to write this down in some way, posted it on Steemit and went back to sleep. This astral experience was of the kind that left me very thirsty and hungry, because apparently it cost me a lot of energy to access that piece of information and remember it. You could say it cost me more than six years of conscious expansion of awareness and stabilising thereof to access that direct practical experience. People wait for E.T disclosure to come to them from an external source, but truth is that we each get our disclosure in ways we might not expect, but only when we are truly ready to handle it, which in turn of course requires a certain extend of mind detachment from this reality. :)
