Yeah, I guess I should have told ya. Political posts don't really go over well on Steemit. Art, however, does really well. If you make a post that is entirely about your art, (see how it can be political ;) ) and about how you created it and about how it expresses who you are as an artist then this is something that can be submitted to @curie, who gives $100 upvotes and higher for original art posts. But if the post is not focused (contains too many ideas) and specifically isn't focused on either the arts or cryptocurrencies (or both!!) than they don't gain much traction. Also, I need to help you learn Markdown so you can format your posts nicely. That helps get the upvotes.
