🏛 Title: When Governments Play God… Freedom Dies

Every empire rises with promises of freedom.
Every one of them falls the same way: when man tries to replace Yah as King.

1 Samuel 8 records Israel’s turning point. The people cried out:

“Give us a king like the nations.”

Yah warned them what would follow:

He’ll take your sons.

He’ll tax your land.

He’ll rule over you.

They didn’t care. They wanted their king.
And they got the bondage that came with him.

🕰 History Repeats Itself

Today’s rulers don’t call themselves kings — but the pattern hasn’t changed.

Modern governments promise to save us from every problem… while slowly demanding total loyalty.

They claim to protect your freedom, but in the end:

They rewrite moral boundaries.

They create dependency.

They demand trust that belongs only to Yah.

📜 “For YHWH is our judge, YHWH is our lawgiver, YHWH is our King; He will save us.” — Isaiah 33:22

This world doesn’t need another politician.
It needs people who remember Who the real King is.

I stopped looking to governments to fix what only Yeshua can fix.
That’s where true freedom lives.

💬 Discussion:

Where have you seen people put their hope in governments instead of Yah?
Do you think believers should trust “the system” — or stand outside of it?
