if i was back there i would have been one of those people that was "breaking the law" by doing this. It's funny to me that the news reported some untraceable and unverifyable stat about 3000 fireworks related calls came in to 911. I doubt that is true and if it is it was likely just ultra whiny neighbors who want to control everyone else.
that's good to hear. Virtually everyone I know offline feels the same way but there are times that I wonder if i am a bit insulated, this is why the California fireworks were so reassuring to me. If there was one place I would have thought this wouldn't happen it would be on the West coast.
