It all starts with a curiosity; Quasars.

Some black holes are so violent that they give rise to something terrifying, quasars are black holes swallowing matter like crazy, gorging themselves on stars as if they were in the volume phase.

They have accretion disks so colossal that they eclipse their own galaxy and sometimes launch jets or jets of matter at almost the speed of light, as if spitting out part of what they cannot swallow straight into the vacuum of space, at hundreds of thousands of kilometers per second.

And if one of those deadly jets is pointed right at us, we call it something else, Blazar, or every man for himself, a Blazar could destroy the Earth's atmosphere, sterilizing it as if it were a nuclear explosion that never ends.

Fortunately, there aren't any close enough, at least for now.
