It all starts with a curiosity; space junk.

The night of August 10 is when this was seen over the southeast of Spain, areas like Eastern Andalusia, I mean Eastern Andalusia, the Valencian Community, Murcia and even the Balearic Islands.

Initially it was thought or reported that it had been a stage of a Chinese rocket, but the reality was a Starlink satellite, this is normal for Starlink satellites to fall, apparently yes, Starlink lost 523 satellites between 2020 and 2024, and it is beginning to be frequent in more parts of the world and I suppose that if they continue to increase the number of satellites not only of Starlink, but also of the rest of the constellations, it is going to be something very frequent, I am not saying that daily, but very frequent.

The point is that all the elements of these satellites disintegrate upon re-entry, let's hope so, I'm not putting my hand in the fire, but let's hope so, the point is that they make satellites that can be destroyed.

It is one of the things they are working on, at least as far as I know, at the European Space Agency, Jaxa, which is the Japanese agency, and at NASA, I don't know how they handle the issue of making satellites with materials that are easily disintegrable when they enter the atmosphere, and I suppose that Starlink and Elon Musk will also be interested in that, because I don't think they want to pay compensation because some fragment of their satellites or their rockets ends up falling in a populated area or in a house or on someone, which we hope May that never happen.

But unfortunately there have been remains of space debris from SpaceX that have passed through, it is an issue that worries me, which I think should be resolved as soon as possible, and I am not worried about who generates the space trash, what worries me is that they collect it or prevent it from falling.
