It all starts with a curiosity; the andromeda galaxy

It is our closest galaxy, if we traveled to it at the speed of light, it would take 2.5 million years to reach Andromeda, and the fastest spacecraft that humans have created goes at a speed of 0.058C, that is, not even 1% of the speed of light.

Andromeda is like the older sister of the Milky Way, it is almost twice the size and houses several times more stars. In our galaxy there are about 200,000 stars, but in Andromeda there are a trillion. It is surprising when you realize that all of these are stars that have planets around them, planetary systems like the solar system, each of those points.

It is curious to think that we will collide with Andromeda in 4 billion years, both galaxies will form a single giant galaxy. To imagine that of so many planets in the Andromeda galaxy there is a civilization looking at the Milky Way in the background, as we see Andromeda from our planet, perhaps there is someone there thinking, "Will there be life in this neighboring galaxy, the Milky Way? I don't think they call it that, just like us.
