This effect can occur in a human being, for example, in the palm of a human hand and in principle when they appeared it was said that it was the aura, that it could be the reflection of the soul and but no, because initially it can be from a human, a leaf, a dog or an object, the above are two coins and it also has this electronic effect because it is an effect related to electricity and can also be taken from dead beings, in short Kirlian photography is an electrical effect but biophotons only They are produced by living beings.
It also has nothing to do with the fluorescence that some animals show, this phenomenon is produced by the absorption of ultraviolet light and then the re-emission in the form of visible light, especially at night, it is something that even involves chemical reactions that fireflies produce, for example, and some produce a low colored glow on their skin.
This biofluorescence is due to the presence of certain proteins in the skin or fur or feathers or even bones of animals that have the ability to re-emit light. For example, in 2023 Australian researchers published research on this phenomenon, reaching the surprising conclusion that most mammals produce this type of light in their skin. For what reason? Well, it's still a mystery, we don't know, but be careful, the biofluorescence they found only occurs in the skin and, very importantly, it can continue to shine even with the animal dead. In fact, the Australian researchers did their work with roadkill.
Biophotons have nothing to do with the above, they are something very different, they are produced throughout the body, it is believed that they are produced in all cells and only when they are alive, biophotons are photons of ultra weak light emissions, they are photons generated by these living cells by reactions that they carry out, enter into their activity, it is not very clear what reactions cause these photons, it can also be called chemiluminescence, in this case of biological origin but the problem they have is that they are They emit at a very low magnitude and are ultra weak, which is why it is difficult to locate them.
The first detection of a biophoton or biophotons is attributed to the Russian Alexander L. Chizhevsky, who captured them in the 1920s and although attempts were made to replicate the experiment hundreds of times, biophotons could not be clearly captured again until the end of the 20th century, so you can imagine that this topic has had complicated and very slow research, it has made very little progress, the images above are the ones that published the study.
In principle we cannot see it with the naked eye, we cannot see it because the rest of the light that even the thermal emission of the heat of our bodies and the rest of the light emissions or the light itself or any glow is much more powerful than the light that these biophotons emit, if we could eliminate all that, that light pollution and we could make the body of a human free of all that pollution, then yes we would see that light, we would see the glowing body but I already say that it is an extremely low emission, equipment is needed sophisticated to amplify this emission of biophotons to be able to capture it, for example, what we see in those leaves and in that mouse, those on top would be live mice and those on the bottom are those that are dead because that is another important detail, biophotons are only produced when the living being, and can also vary depending on the health of that animal and also other types of reactions, when it is stressed apparently the level of biophotons can also increase.
This experiment was carried out by researchers from the University of Calgary and the National Research Council of Canada. They carried out the experiment with mice and with leaves to have two different types of living beings and the same thing happened in both, that is, in both depending on the state of health, they produced more or less biophotons and when they died those biophotons disappeared.
