The reality of the Volonaut Airbike flying motorcycle

It seemed like something out of a movie, a motorcycle floating a few meters above the ground crossing the forest as if it were a deleted scene from Star Wars, and not only did the image seem incredible, the internet was divided between those who saw a hoax generated by AI and those who dared to believe in the impossible.

I made a post talking about it, but now it's official, the Volonaut Airbike is real, it's not CGI, it's not suspended by cables or needs special effects, the future has arrived and it's fast and ready to take off.

Weighing only 30 kg, this futuristic aerial motorcycle is powered by multiple jet engines, the exact number has not yet been revealed with the capacity to transport up to 95 kg at a maximum speed of 102 km/h, that is, it not only flies, but it flies fast, enough to be classified as an ultra-light aircraft and requires a pilot's license in some regions of the world.

The pilot only needs to complete Volonaut's own training and yes it can take off and land automatically with fully computerized Flyby Wire system with triple redundancy, it seems like a joke, so maybe you need to watch the new uncut videos.

The propulsion appears to be based on jet turbines with fuel that can vary between jet, diesel, biodiesel or kerosene, with a short autonomy of up to 10 minutes of flight, requiring rapid refueling that can be done in about a minute.

The control is stabilized by a sophisticated on-board computer, allowing even hands-free flying if you're brave enough, recent tests reveal, contrary to CGI rumours, the bike takes off, lands and generates visible thrust vectors from the heat waves of the jet and the noise is loud enough to silence any skeptics.

The Volonaut Airbike goes into limited production starting August 1st with an initial price of $80,000, that's right, a value that may seem unattainable for many, but that opens the doors for the appearance of new personal aerial vehicles, the plan is to make this technology accessible and in the future expand its adoption in urban and rural environments, despite the new images and clearer technical data, skepticism still exists, the absence of long and continuous videos makes some question whether there would still be some manipulation involved, but everything indicates that the motorcycle really flies with surprising stability and a safety system that allows it to remain in the air, even with partial engine failures.

The challenge now is to take this technology beyond millionaires and transform it into a personal mobility revolution. Will it one day reach us or will it be another expensive toy that will be restricted to a technological elite.
