Without seat, without mirror and without steering wheel.

In Las Vegas, Zoox officially launched its fully autonomous robotaxis service. Vehicles designed from the ground up to rethink the way we move around cities. Equipped with cameras, radars, Lidars and long-wave infrared sensors, they offer a complete 360º vision, capable of detecting any detail of the road in real time.

More than seeing, Zoox understands what is around it. The system classifies vehicles, pedestrians and obstacles with great precision and even predicts the actions of drivers and pedestrians before they happen. This is only possible because its software combines advanced perception with route planning based on artificial intelligence, transforming each trip and an experience that is fluid, safe and 100% independent of a human driver.

Starting in Las Vegas and then to San Francisco.

The company's CEO Aisha Evans highlighted that Las Vegas was chosen for being a city of memorable experiences, the perfect setting to launch a revolution. According to her, Zoox's goal is not only to make a car drive itself, but to create a completely new form of transportation. And with this launch, that option begins to become a reality.

The Zoox robotxi does not have a steering wheel, mirrors, rear-view mirrors or pedals. It was specifically designed to be a shared transportation vehicle, where each seat is designed for the passenger and not for the driver. Therefore, the travel service, which will initially be free, can be requested through the company's application with boarding and drop-off options at iconic points such as Resource World, Area 15 and Top, among other destinations on the famous Street.

This milestone also makes Zoox the first company in history to offer app-based transportation in purpose-built, fully autonomous vehicles. It is the result of more than a decade of research and development where the company was founded in Foster City, California.

The Las Vegas premiere is just the beginning.

Users can now join the waiting list for San Francisco, where Zoox, planning and expanding soon, combining perception, prediction and accident prevention, these vehicles show how technology can transform not only traffic, but also the experience of moving around the city.

When mobility definitively stops depending on the human driver, we will be prepared to entrust our lives to machines that learn, perceive and decide on their own.
