It is already sold and flies at 100 km/h

If it depends on the startup Jetson, the future will arrive lightly, quickly and electrifyingly with the Jetson One, the personal vehicle that promises to take anyone to the air with just a joystick, called the Formula 1 of the skies. This single-seat hippo has already had its first production version launched and the sensation of piloting it is leaving many people interested and dreaming of their own flight.

The Jetson One is compact open and built with lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber, weighing only 86 kg, it is powered by eight electric motors controlled with extreme precision by a Flyby Wire system that allows smooth maneuvers, impressive stability and intuitive piloting, even for those who have never flown before, at least that's what the developers claim.

With a maximum speed of 100 km/h and a range of 20 minutes per charge, Jetson One is ideal for short flights, aerial experiences, even small futuristic trips and safety, well the company says it has not skimped on that point.

A personal recreational flight vehicle

The Jets one uses Lidar to detect obstacles, has automatic landing in case of pilot failure and perhaps most impressively, it can maintain flight even if one rotor fails by redistributing power between the remaining engines. It is as if it had an integrated survival system, always ready to protect the pilot. This flight system is practically assisted by AI, translating simple joystick movements into refined commands to maintain stability, altitude and route, meaning you don't need to be a pilot to live this experience.

The system does almost all the difficult work for you, making the experience accessible and somewhat safe. The Jetson One is not an air taxi, nor a traditional helicopter, it was created to make a personal recreational flight vehicle, like a dream flying motorcycle. With $8,000 in advance you can now reserve yours, but be careful, the models for 2025 and 2026 are already sold out, the closest delivery only in 2027 and the final value $128,000, that is, there is no time to plan and fill the piggy bank with coins, well not so much.

Will Jetson One usher in a new era of individual flying vehicles or will it be another expensive toy for the rich.
