It's easy to shot out 'Racist, Fascist, Nazi, Commie etc to shout someone down and try to kill off what would be sane and reasonable debate. Fear of losing your power, position and control drive these people.

The good of the whole community then gets lost in a sh*tfest of slander, lies and deceit. Like you say, smoke and mirrors, misdirection for the true issues that the powers that be are burying!
