Wow, that does sound like the epitome of summer right there! Love the camping as the barometer. You have definitely helped cultivate a rich environment for your kiddos to blossom in. As an adult I have learned to appreciate just how much time and energy my parents put into my sisters and I to give us similar experiences. A labor of love, but as you said, well worth it.
