RE: Health Officials Reverse Patient Privacy For Nursing Homes Over COVID-19

in #privacy5 years ago

There are many in nursing homes about as defenseless as children. That's why in some states there are moves to allow families who have their love one's permission to place camera's in homes so they can monitor what is going on with their love ones....that's how bad it is. As long as they are not giving out names and only gathering data to be sure that protective measures are in place to protect the elderly I don't have a problem with it....just like if someone has a room mate in a nursing home both parties have to agree to having a camera even though the camera will be focused on the initial party who agrees along with their family.
