04: You Want More? Start Giving.(repost)

We can't have everything we desire at our disposal. That's the reason we need one another to quench the needs of our desires. I may have what you want and you may have want I need. This is the way of life.
Life is a two sided coin, it can be;
- Negative or postive
- Give or take
- Light or darkness
- Right or left
- Up or down
- Sweet or bitter
- Hot or cold
- Sunny or rainy
- War or peace
- Old or new
- Static or dynamic
- Ally or foe
- Sow and reap
- knowledge or secrets.
I believe what we don't know will always be a secret. I have come to the conclusion that new inventions will someday depreciate, wear out or become old. I can affirm that what's not sweet may be bitter, I can affirm that if there's no light then darkness is inevitable. I know if it's not hot, it will be cold. I know if peace does not endure, war may ensue. This is life for you, it is never still, it is never stagnant. It goes up and down.
When I was ignorant -- my blockchain life
Today my pen will be an eye opener in the area of giving and taking. Many of you will agree with me, you can't give what you don't have, also you can't have what is not given. Since I joined the crypto-space. I came with the mindset of "taking" from it, money-wise I never came with the investment motive, this mentality of mine had ripple effect on my behaviour during my springtime on the chain. I was determined to do everything possible to earn at the expense of my online image. I made up my mind, if it was to ass-lick, I will humbly do it, since it won't be in vain; the appalling deed did garner rewards for my lowly efforts. (I am glad this habit has shed it's skin off from my mindset.)
Back then I was broke not wretched, I craved for financial independence; to provide succour for some of my meagre needs with my own hands and viola blockchain technology found me and wrapped my worries with it's opportunities and astonishing solutions.
As I travelled into the beyond of the crypto-space I made friends; some are amazing, some are hypocritical, some are misleading, some are life-changers and some are scammers. It is from these friends I learnt and keep learning the good, the bad and the ugly of flying my crypto-space ship on my own.
Get the best from the chain
You want more right? Then you need to start giving! Some of my assets reflecting on my hidden and bare portfolio came to me when I started giving. In the crypto-space giving is not when you dish out tokens, no! It's more than that. To those who came in with nothing just like me, this post will be handy to you.
When you start giving, what you don't have or desire will come knocking on your doors. It could be your time, engagement, valuable comments, rendering vital information, working for communities, doing giveaway, giving birthday gifts, offering tiny or big financial support to other crypto enthusiasts in need, the list is endless. I have applied all these to my ONLINE life and the returns has paid huge dividend in ways I never imagined. There's nobody who doesn't have anything to offer. You just need to sit yourself down, think deep, ask yourself, what can I offer or give? Once you locate the answer within you, quickly use it to add value in the life of others, don't give because you know you will receive. Give from your heart, do it with a good spirit, on it's own accord the reaping effect will yield huge dividend.
Giving and taking is like a ledger with debit and credit sides. If you are always taking without giving you will be a debtor. If you decide to tread on the path of giving and taking less, it makes you an investor or creditor in any ledger that records your entries. I hope this opens the inner mind and eyes. I am not against taking but when your giving deeds in any form supersede your taking then you stand as the richest man/woman on the chain. You will be acknowledged in the heart of many as a philanthropist and a good ambassador.
Let's learn also from the motto of the @twelved account
This Is Not A Contest; It Is A Way Of Life
It’s Not About What You “Can’ Get But What You “Can” Give.
Here now lies the question --- You want more? what can you give? Find it! Mine it! refine it! and put it to use!!!

So so true. We should set the example for whatever we want or preach about then like a boomerang it comes back at us. It always seem to happen - we just need to try it.
