06: Your comments are post (repost)

in #psychology7 years ago (edited)

The Whaleshares platform was designed to reward every intellectual effort in writing via wls tokens. It is nothing like facebook, twitter, youtube, whatsapp and a few other social media platforms that don't reward it's user. Whaleshares was created with the aim in mind to incentivize it's users for their valuable resources they share on the platform.

Since I joined whaleshares, I made new friends and met diverse kinds of people scattered all over the world (ONLINE); some live in Africa, some live in Europe, some live in North or Southern America while some live in Asia. Amongst my new friends there's one that calls himself "Evil genius", we became friends through whaleshares unlike others who became my friend through steemit.

This whaler indirectly changed my mindset with his rewarding habits, before I only cared about posting and up-shares, I never gave a damn about commenting. If any commenter graced my post with comments in some cases I'd solely just reply and move on, if the comment is superb I'd just reward or share it but this was never my habit.

Anytime "Evil genius" publishes a post, my notification bot tabs his thread to keep me informed because he's the type of whaler that writes top notch post. After reading, there's no way I won't hit the comment box and leave a feedback, instead of the "Evil genius" to just reply me. He will reply me and reward all my comment and my subsequent replies to him on that post not just me alone but also everyone who will comment on that post.

I said to myself "All comments are posts" -- they are valuable as such from this day hence forth I'd always reward all comments that engage with me directly or indirectly as long as they hold value within their walls." "Evil genius" inculcated in me a mindset to cherish all comments as post. He passed unto me the true power of engagement.

My dear readers, if you want to tap into the true power of engagement don't just reply comments, reward them and don't forget to reward the post. That's the true power of engagement to reward all effort in reading your post. I know some comments ain't genuine, in my own opinion, what I do is to "reduce my share weight on such comments or ignore the share button". I love to reward any comment on the scale of [ 1 — 15%]. Note, true power of engagement is kindled by the share button. No "share weight" is small.

Remember all comments are post, It doesn't matter if the size of your stake is small, strategically reward them for their effort, also don't abuse the comment gateway with crazy "share weight (circle jerking)" or leave them unrewarded and unanswered. To be blunt here, I did circle jerk in the past but I repented when few of my friends opened my eyes on the toll it will have on me as a bad whaler, that aside, just have the mindset to lit all engagement with the flames of replying and rewarding.

Some of you would be curious to know, who's this "Evil genius"? -- some of you would really want to check his blog out, well he's no other person than the one and only @erodedthoughts
