Well, I think you should dress to please yourself first. I was born an old man and wore button down shirts and khakis even in high school. Now I wear a tie and a jacket to work because I'm trying to "be the change I want to see in the world." What do you know, my boss started wearing a tie the week after I started. Of course I'm a tobacconist, and there's not much that's more old-fashioned than that.

Of course there's a difference between old fashioned and "old at heart." I'm glad you had such a good time at the concert. Did @honeydue go with you?
