RE: Question of the Day - Did NASA Really Land on the Moon or Not? [qod][conspiracytheory]
Too many inconsistencies on both sides. I don't think they 'lost' the footage from Apollo 11. They have it, it's stored. It's our government at work.
The first footage... I agree you don't see the earth at all, there are no stars at any point in any picture, unless it's daylight 24/7 with no atmosphere though there would be an abundance of stars. The reflection in one of the helmets and so forth. The environment seems structured. When you look at other pictures such as the video put up by @funbobby51 the terrain is different.
Why haven't we gone back? Who says we haven't? The last time I was at Cape Canaveral Challenger was in place for launch in a couple of weeks.
There had to be success at some point our government would not have spent that much money on 6 missions . Would they hide their findings...definitely.
Of course I do view all of this a bit differently. What better way to keep things quiet than to keep conspiracy theories running amuck. The answers to theses questions and hypothesis will not be answered until most of us are long gone. Maybe our great-grandchildren will know. We never will. Freedom of Information Act or not. Our government will not release anything it doesn't want to.
Thanks for the input @tryskele and yes you do put another ingredient to this thickening plot.
