Flag Questions & Copycats

in #question8 years ago

Exactly how does this work?

if you are Flaged- can you find out who flaged you?

I understand that certain people who subscribe to each others blogs- might be interested in the same stuff, have the same viewpoints & write on the same things- putting up very Similar posts.

HOWEVER- what if you know someone reads your post- because they just up voted it- then just 5 minutes later they posted on their blog- an EXACT DUPLICATE of a portion of your post - with nothing else of their own added? Would You get pissed? How about if you notice this person posts very little of their own content & is mostly Resteeming?

Seriously don't just cut a section out of someone else's post & repost on your own blog- like immediately! Geez what a LAZY Bastard- AT LEAST ADD SOMETHING OF YOUR OWN.

No I don't want nor am I looking for credit for anything- Many of my posts are simply comments around OTHER PEOPLES WORK- but at least I add something to it.

Should I Flag, Mute or Ignore? Is there a way I could block them from even reading my posts?

Comments Welcome?

unfortunately, there is no way of blocking them from reading, i think. but definitely flag them and comment in that stolen article that it is yours. hope you read doggo's advice, i predicted 9/11, Chernobyl, the Vietnam war, the Korean war, World War 1, and World War 2. don't forget Fukushima

I would warn them first. If they don't stop then flag them and publicly call them out on it. Use tags like #abuse and #steemitabuse to get the attention of bigger fish that will gladly flag them too.
