Quincy Market was built to provide the much-needed space as downtown grew. They added the indoor market and vendor stalls. Faneuil Hall was on the waterfront and when Quincy Market was erected, the market was built on a landfill that was once part of the harbor. With the market traffic, six new streets were built to accommodate it

The Influence Of Bid Bots On Palnet

One of the nice things of Palnet is that the distribution of staked PAL is much more even than it is on Steem and that all the curating has to be done manually. Well, that's two things actually. As there are no bid bots on Palnet no one can buy his way into the trending page. All the posts that appear on the trending page are there because they genuinely interest a lot of people. Which is supposed to be an indication of quality

While it is generally true there are no bid bots (yet) on Palnet, the bid bots on Steem however do have an influence on the distribution of the reward pool

Monomad Challenge: Bones Of The Building

Location: St.Petersburg, Russia, Ligovskii prospect (not the historic part of the city already). Some industrial building from late XIX century being abandoned, nor demolished, neither 're-constructed'. This part of the city is far from fashionable central districts. Will see what happen with it later, this area is being massively reconstructed and burdened with dozens of houses apartments in recent years

Just look at this building's bone and brick structure! @qwerrie wishes the image would have been free of the fencing in the front for a better view, but you have to admit this building looks great either way.

UPDATE: When this post went live there were only 474 Tokens available for purchase from the Steem-Engine market. Once they are sold the only way to get tokens would be to buy them from other Q holders or via delegation. There is a set amount that will only be paid out to delegators.

Bigger better monthly subs!

We know not everyone can delegate or upvote for larger upvotes. Thus sending in steem allowed for a larger upvote for the month.

It used to be only two levels.

SUB1 = 0.8 Steem for an upvote from 750 SP
SUB2 = 1.6 Steem for an upvote from 1500 SP

We decided to add three more levels to this, with level 5 adding a little bonus in there!

SUB3 = 2.4 Steem for an upvote from 2250 SP
SUB4 = 3.2 Steem for an upvote from 3000 SP
SUB5 = 4 Steem for an upvote from 4000 SP (250SP Bonus!)

So how does that work?

Let's say you send 3.2 Steem with the memo sub JULY then you will get an upvote from @qurator similar to a 3000 SP account.
