WHAT IS DHAL CHANNA??? |

It is a popular lentils in South Asian cuisine made by splitting and peeling Black chickpeas to create a split pulse that's used in Dhal Curries.
INGREDIENTS FOR LENTILS: |

•2_3 cup lentils |
•3 medium size onion (chopped) |
•2 medium tomatoes (chopped) |
•2_3 green chillis |
•1 tsp garlic paste |
•1 tsp ginger paste |
•1/2 tsp turmeric |
•1 tsp red chili powder |
•Coriander powder |
•4 tbsp ghee or oil |
•4_5 cups water |
•Salt for taste |
•Fresh coriander leaves |

PREPARATION STEPS: |

1-Cook the lentils: |

•Wash the lentils with clean water and soak in a bowl for 20-30 minutes.
•Cut onion and tomatoes into slices and make Ginger Garlic paste.
•In a Pot/Cooker add cooking oil and then add onion and fry it until brown. The add ginger garlic paste and cook.
•Then add all spices, red chilli powder, coriander, and turmeric and cook them.
•Then add tomatoes and cook them until curry is prepared.
•When Curry is prepared, Add soaked lentils in the pot and mix them with tomatoes,and other ingredients curry. Cook the lentils.
•Add 2_3 cups of water in the pot/cooker and cook until all the water evaporates and lentils become soft. Cover the pot with lid and cook for 10 minutes.
•Our dish is ready. Now garnish with Garam Masala/Hot spices.
2-Serve: |

•Serve hot dhal with paratha
•Garnish and eat.
•Serve with boiled rice.
