Recipe of the day - Creamy handi
It's a pleasure to share a yummy meal with you all!Today I am going to prepare a delicious recipe which is creamy handi.Chicken was availabile in my fridge as well I have bulk of fresh cream that's why I thought to prepare creamy handi.
Ingredients
Chicken | 350 gram |
---|---|
Onion | 1 large size |
Tomato (optional) | 1 small size |
Cream | 1.5 cup |
Ginger garlic paste | 1 teaspoon |
Black pepper | 1 teaspoon |
White pepper | Half teaspoon |
Cumin seeds | 1 teaspoon |
Salt | 1 teaspoon |
Mixed spices | Half teaspoon |
Green chillies | 5-6 |
Almonds | 18-20 |
Preparation
Take a pan and add butter or ghee in it.Add chopped onions in ghee and start cooking it at medium flame.
Let the onions get golden brown after 7-8 minutes cooking at medium flame and then take it off for blending in a jar.
Here I add some more ghee or butter with chicken, garlic ginger paste and some salt so that chicken may get 30% cooked til we blend other ingredients in a blender.
I have added golden brown onions, chopped tomatoes,green chillies in jar.
It's a time to add the yummiest ingredient which is cream in jar and now blend it well for 1 minute until we have a thick homogeneous paste.
Chicken has been 30% cooked you can see.
Pour onions, tomato,green chillies,cream paste in chicken.
Add all spices including black pepper, white pepper,salt,cumin seeds in curry and let it cook at medium flame for 15 minutes.While cooking we will cover it with a lid now so that chicken may get soft and tender.
For a more juicy and creamier taste we will add half cup of cream and 18-20 almonds in a jar and blend it well.
Chicken gets soft and tender and now it's a time to add creamy almond paste in chicken curry and cook it well untill water gets dried and oil comes out.
Here is final presentation of creamy handi with green chillies which are my most favourite 😋 🤤
