Educating is More Difficult than Teaching - October 14, 2025

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
Good morning and greetings to all my friends. My activities today start early in the morning and continue late into the night. There are so many things to do, including my routine of teaching and playing with children.

Today, I have classes from 3 to 4 and 5 to 6 in grades XII and XI-1. The material I teach is about hydrocarbons. I gave two examples of alkane and alkene compounds. The students sat neatly and listened attentively. Some raised their hands to ask questions, and I responded immediately. I am very happy to be able to teach this class.

When I arrived to teach class XI-1, I gave a test on memorizing the names of elements based on their groups in the periodic table. There are eight groups in the periodic table of chemical elements. The students came forward one by one when they were ready. After almost all of the students had come forward, I checked again to see if there were any students who had not come forward, because they would not receive a score.

The bell rang, signaling the end of class, and I continued my journey to find a place to eat. I stopped at Graha coffee shop, where I ordered Aceh fried noodles with egg and cold apple tea. The apple tea was refreshingly cool on my throat. The Aceh fried noodles were a little spicy but still tasted good and suited my palate. The price was also reasonable and affordable.

That evening, I took my child to the cafe in front of our house. My child is a fan of speakers. He really likes the lights on the speakers. While looking at the speaker lights, we also ate some crackers. I always make time to play with my child in between my busy work schedule. Children should not be forgotten. After half an hour of playing and looking at the speakers, my child and I returned home and immediately rested in bed.
