Blessed Friday, I was still given the opportunity to gather and eat with my little family.

This morning felt calmer and more blessed. As usual, every Friday I started the day with a relaxing coffee at my favorite hut near my house. The cool morning air and the aroma of hot coffee added to my enthusiasm to go through the day. But what made this morning more special was that I invited my little daughter to join me. She sat sweetly beside me, occasionally smiling happily while observing the surrounding atmosphere.

Not far from the hut where I was sitting, there were several wild monkeys that often roamed around this area. My daughter seemed very enthusiastic to see them jumping from around the hut. Her little laughter refreshed my heart, making this simple moment feel like being busy at home preparing the lunch menu. So I deliberately took the little one out so as not to disturb her mother's activities in the kitchen.

Time passed quickly, and soon the sound of the Friday call to prayer was heard from the mosque near my house. I immediately drank the rest of my coffee, took my daughter home, and then got ready to perform Friday prayers. After cleaning myself and dressing myself, I walked to the mosque with a calm and grateful heart.

After Friday prayers, I went straight home. When I got home, the aroma of my wife's cooking immediately greeted me warmly. In the living room, the three of us gathered, me, my wife and our beloved daughter. We sat together on a mat, eating a simple but very delicious lunch. Today's menu was warm white rice, fresh vegetables, temptingly spicy shrimp paste, crispy fried chicken and a glass of water as a complement.

This moment of eating together felt very warm. We chatted, smiled at each other and enjoyed every bite with gratitude. Our daughter seemed to be eating heartily, making my heart even happier. Today is indeed a special day of celebration, but it is full of blessings because it is filled with togetherness, sincerity and love in our little family. Hopefully, we will always feel days full of blessings like today.
