Celebrating the birthday with enthusiasm

The Prophet Muhammad's birthday is always a special moment eagerly awaited by the people of my hometown. Each year, the village atmosphere seems to become more lively, vibrant, and filled with a sense of togetherness. This year felt even more special for me because in addition to participating in the celebrations, I was also entrusted to be part of the maulid committee.

For several days before the event, the committee members were busy preparing everything. From cleaning the meunasah (hall) to setting up the tents and preparing the equipment needed by the invited guests. I, along with several village youths, was tasked with assisting with logistics and field technical matters. Although tiring, the collaborative atmosphere was actually enjoyable, as everything was done with the intention of worship and love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

On the day of the event, people began arriving early in the morning. The women busily prepared a variety of traditional Maulid dishes, including rice and various side dishes, and even traditional cakes. Meanwhile, the men and boys helped organize the event, welcoming guests, and maintaining order. The children also appeared elated, dressed in their best attire to join in the celebrations and remembrance of God.

The event began with the recitation of prayers and the recitation of the Prophet's biography, bringing a sense of peace. Hearing the story of the Prophet Muhammad's life always evokes a sense of longing and serves as an example for us to emulate his morals. As a committee member, I felt a special pride in participating in organizing the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly and orderly.

What was most touching was the sense of togetherness. There was no distinction between young and old; everyone joined hands to ensure the event's success. A plentiful meal was shared with guests, neighbors, and everyone in attendance. This sharing activity strengthened the sense of brotherhood within the village community.

Organize the course of the event success

Although I felt exhausted after the event, my heart was filled with gratitude. Being able to celebrate the Prophet's birthday with such enthusiasm in my hometown was a great joy. Furthermore, being part of the committee made me feel even more involved, not just as a spectator but also as an integral part of the celebration itself.

May this spirit of the Prophet's birthday continue to be maintained each year, serving as a reminder for all of us to continually improve ourselves, strengthen our bonds with God, and deepen our love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
