The Process Of Removing Rice Seeds

The rice planting process resumed today, August 7, 2025. The planting took place in another, larger area than before. Previously, I planted rice in my own field, and this time, it was time to plant in my parents' field.

This time, the planting was carried out by seven people to ensure a quick completion. Before planting, everyone got down to remove the seeds from the nursery. To make the work appear to be progressing, they would plant with the seeds that had been removed. The remaining rice would continue after the seeds were gone and remove more seeds.

Creating Planting Lines

Here I come to help but I do not come to pull out the seeds and plant, but I will make a rice planting line using a simple tool made of wood, pulling it back so that it displays a straight line and looks neater when planting the rice later.

Before doing this, make sure the land you're planting in isn't waterlogged, as this can wash away the lines you've drawn. This will make planting easier, as they simply follow the lines without any confusion.

The simple tool I brought from home is located on the side of the rice field wall, and you can see it there. Perhaps you can make one yourself to make planting easier. It's a ruler, similar to a hair comb with 10 edges. Before drawing the line, pull the string from one end to the other, following the string for the first pull. For the second pull, simply follow the lines outlined in the soil.

Results of Planting

Once all the plot lines are visible, I'll bring the rice seedlings that have been removed to the rice field and arrange them in rows. I've prepared the rice seedlings for them to start planting, and they seem to be planting faster because they simply follow the lines I've drawn.

Some plots have been perfectly completed by planting, and everything looks very neat in the rows. This neat planting is aesthetically pleasing and also provides space for spraying later without disturbing the rice plants.

Lunch on the Hut

With half the work and planting done, it was now time for a break. At 1:19 PM, it was time for us to find a shady spot to rest and start eating lunch with the supplies we had brought from home.

Here I am, sitting on a hut in the rice fields with my wife, unpacking everything from our bag: a bowl of fried noodles, an omelette, and some white rice for our lunch. We had two bottles of mineral water, and we also had a little black coffee to enjoy after our meal.

The Work is Finished With Beautiful Results

Lunch is over now we continue our work and will finish planting this rice for today, maybe this is all I can tell and hopefully it will be useful for myself and all of you, if you want to make a rice planting line you can use the example of what I have which is shaped like a comb to make the planting process easier later. Greetings and thank you.

Hola. Nunca he estado en un cultivo de arroz y si me gustaría. El que nos muestras se ve muy bien cuidado y eso es muy importante para una futura cosecha.

Ojalá pueda crecer bien y dar una cosecha abundante.
