In Dad's arms
- Does your culture celebrate Father's Day this coming Sunday, June 15th? How does your culture celebrate it?
My culture celebrates Father's Day, and in my culture, which is Kaduna culture, on Father's Day, most people just wish their father a happy Father's Day, but some people who are from big cities go to a restaurant to celebrate, and many of these people even have cake. Some of these people cut the cake at home or order the cake from the restaurant or from food vendors online. In addition to this, some children use the opportunity of being around their loved ones to present the gifts to their father.
- From 1 to 10, how important is it to celebrate Father's Day?
The importance of celebrating father if I am to rate it I would rate it 9 out of 10. However, in my culture, it is not mandatory to celebrate Father's Day, but the day provides a valuable opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the role fathers play in families and society at large, promoting positive relationships and emotional well-being in families and society at large.
Father's Day allows us to express gratitude and love towards our fathers, strengthening our family bonds and fostering positive emotions. Also, fathers serve as role models for children, and acknowledging their contribution on Father's Day reinforces their significance in shaping the lives of children.
- If you had the opportunity to make a hypothetical celebration plan with your father or other affectionate father figure, what would it be like? (Example: go fishing together, watch a soccer game, have a barbecue, go to the movies, go to a bar...)
If I had the opportunity to make a hypothetical celebration plan with my father or another affectionate father figure, It would be like this. First I will spend the weekend with my father and loved ones where I will do the following:
- Host a dinner party for my father and his wife (my mother)
- I will make a family photo collage together
- I will take my dad to watch a soccer game
- I will have a family video game of pickleball
- I will give my dad some much-needed solo time
- I will take a road trip with him.
- Do you identify with the following Bible verse in Deuteronomy 1:31 that says: " He has brought us here as if he were carrying us in his arms, and so far nothing has happened to us. He has been a father to us "?
Yes, I identify with the Bible verse in Deuteronomy 1:31. The Bible verse describes how the godly leader embraces God's greater purpose of hardship for his life. To this, a great hope was issued to the servant's ultimate glorification for the hope of the followers of God. It is a verse that makes children to have trust and hope in their father.

Hello my dear @joan-na
Thank you ma.
