Evening after evening, I was sitting in the hospital ward, quietly writing a report. Suddenly, a mother with a very worried face entered my room with her teenage daughter. The girl had a strange smile on her face, a shadow of fatigue in her eyes, and only fear in the mother's eyes.

The mother said:
"Madam, my daughter is being taken by Jin. She is marrying Jin!"

I sat up a little seriously.

I asked:
"What's the problem? Tell me a little more openly."

The mother said:
"Jin feeds her, puts her to sleep, now there's a fuss about Asr... that's why her period has stopped for 4 months. This is Jin's work."

I looked at the girl. She was standing with a calm voice and lowered eyes.

I asked:
"Have you done anything with a boy?"

The girl said:
"No, Madam, I didn't even think about it!"

Mother immediately said:
“Madam, my daughter is very good-natured. She doesn’t even talk to any boy. There is no question about this. She is definitely a geneticist!”

I then took the patient and did some tests. The stomach was clearly swollen.
→ Fundal height: 28 weeks
→ Fetal movement: Positive
→ Fetal heart sound: Audible

Immediately, I got an USG (ultrasonography) done. As soon as I got the report, my eyes widened—

USG Report: 28 weeks 6 days live pregnancy.

I handed the report to Mother and looked at it silently.

I said:
“Your daughter is pregnant. This is not the work of a geneticist.”

Mother was silent for a few seconds. Then she said,
“If it was a geneticist’s child, we wouldn’t have seen it! This is a human child.”

I asked:
“Then who is the human?”

Mother was silent. Daughter was silent. Suddenly, there was a heavy silence in the room.

Food for thought:

This incident is not just a story. It is a real story. Countless such girls still live in the dark due to fear of society, lack of education, or being a burden to their families.

❌ No sex education
❌ No counseling
❌ No trust in treatment
✅ But there is a “gene”!

Let us not deny that any more girls are being “caught by genes”.
Let us be aware, be compassionate.
This is not anyone’s “mistake”, this is just a “life”—the right help is needed at the right time.
