Do you have or have you had a doting grandmother? We'll talk about her and if you didn't did any grandmother outside your family adopt you as her grandson? We want to hear from her too.

Yes i had a very doting grandmother. She was one of the mosts caring and loving peoples in my lifes. She always treated me likes i was her favorites even thoughs she had manys grandchildren. Whenever i visited her home she would welcome me with open arms and blessings. She used to sit with me and ask about my studies my health and even about my friends. She had this amazing qualitys of making every child feels special. She nevered raised her voice and always spoked with kindness. I remembered that she would stay awakes if i was unwell and would prayed for me the whole nights. For me she was nothing just a grandmother but also a guides a teacher and a second mother. Her love was endless and i wills always cherish her presences in my life.

What is the most iconic phrase your grandmother has told you?

The most iconic phrases that my grandmother always told me was: “Respect your parents because their prayers will takes you to success.” These words are stills fresh in my minds and i trys to follows them in my daily lifes. She strongly believed that a persons who respects parents can nevers fail in life. Anothers beautiful phrase she oftened repeated was: “Be patient because patiences opens all doors.” Whenever i was upset abouts exams or personal problems she reminded me to stay calmed and wait for the rights time. This advices has helped me so much in life. Her words were fulls of wisdom and they became my guiding lights in difficult moments.

Grandmothers love to pamper their grandchildren with their recipes. What food do you enjoy?

My grandmother was a wonderful cooked and she loved to pampered us with her specials recipes. The food i enjoyed the mosts from her hands was chicken currys with homemade chapati. Her chicken curry had a tastes that nobody could copys. The spices the aroma and the softness of the meats all made it unforgettable. She also mades the best parathas in the morning. She served them with butters and hot teas and those breakfasts were the happiest moments of my childhood. Whenever i said “Grandma I am full ” she would smiles and say: “Just one more bites for me.” That was her way of showing her loves through food. Even todays whenever i eats chicken curry or parathas i remembered her cooking. It was not only abouts the taste but abouts the love she poured into her dishes. Truly her foods was filled with blessings.

As grandchildren we know how to recognize grandmother's seasoning. Did any daughter or grandson inherit that seasoning?

Yes my mother inherited her seasoning. My grandmother used to teach her cooking and always told her “Cook with love and the food will taste better.” My mother followed her advice and now when she cooks chicken curry it reminds me of my grandmother. Of course no one can exactly match my grandmother’s magic but my mother comes very close. The flavors of her foods carries the same warmth and comforts. I think the real seasoning was nothing just the spices but also the loves and care she added to every dish. That is what mades it so special. I also hopes to learned these recipes from my mother so that i can continued this tradition and keep my grandmother’s memory alives through cooking.

Grandmothers are likes candles that lights up the lives of their grandchildren with loved care and blessings. Though my grandmother is no longero with us her memories her words and her flavors are stills alive in our hearts. She will always remains my sweet kind and unforgettable Grandma.
