Fresh Corn one of the most popular and enjoyable food during the rainy season in Cameroon.
Hello @everyone today bring to you guys one of the most popular and enjoyable food or bite l .In my location and my country Cameroon as whole during the rainy season which is “fresh corn”.In my country we have two main season the dry season which runs from mid November to mid March approximately 3 to 4months .
The rainy season runs from mid March to ending October which 8months .During the the rainy season there are varieties of crops that is being planted .We have beans , potatoes ,groundnut, corn etc . Corn is my focus which is the highest consumed as food and during the rainy season.
During the rainy season corn is planted in two shift, from March in three month is ready for consumption. By ending July the corn is dry and is harvested to be dry to use as corn .In preparation to be eaten with combination of other vegetable.

The second phase of planting of corn start from early August and by ending October harvesting take place When it dry .During the dry season fresh corn is one of the most enjoyable bites (meal ) commonly consumed in the Cameron .Almost all the ten regions. Moving along street you can easy buy it from vendors roasting fresh corn and even boiled fresh corn selling it in street
This is because almost everyone involved in farming has fresh corn inthe farm .This at times can be consumed after roasting the corn on the fireside or boiling it the fresh corn to ready.
As for me my best part of consuming fresh corn is by roasting .I enjoy it so much than boiling .Especially when am at the fire side roasting and eating fresh corn harvest from the farm when it sweet . I was always like to enjoy my roasted corn when it still hot immediately I removed it from the fire side .
Visiting Cameron or someone who is based in Cameroon this the highest enjoyable bite. One can easily be entertained in people’s home to eat .Either it’s roasted or boiled , it’s should at moderate prices for those who are not involved into farming to buy and consumed .
To conclude, rainy season despite it frequently rainy fall without non stop .It a season of bountiful harvest with many crops .Fresh corn is one it which is cameroonain enjoy it most as part of our daily meal.
