Baywalk Balingasag, Misamis Oriental

in RECREATIVE STEEM3 months ago

Pandemic has the worst effect on our lives than we have imagined. I do hope we all are in good health always. Even with all the situation we have now, let us look on the bright side of it for everything happens for a reason, We may not be feeling it now, but it will turn fine someday. I've been emotional lately. I'm sorry for that.

I was 8months pregnant this time with my son, my third child. February on the year 2019, I got reassigned to our feed mill plant division. There I met these wonderful people who are with me on this walk. This walk happened in October 2019 when the team planned on an escapade along with our fellow co-workers. A team-building they said.

Despite my heavy tummy, I went with them on checking the site in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental, Sir Loel's hometown. I went with them of course with my husband's permission for the reason that I did not plan on going with them in the actual event. The ride takes more than one hour. i never had a phone that time that's why I did not get many pictures. The place that they have been planning to stay is a beach with a single swimming pool. It was quite a great place, they said but I can't relate.

They said that the place will be good enough for games and for (of course) drinking alcoholic beverages. That's what most people want in going to parties as they planned. It's so weird that they planned to do it overnight. ( well maybe they are used to it) I imagine their families worrying for them, and staying awake waiting for them to come home. Majority of the employees has family of their own.

After deciding that the place was cool, Sir Loel showed us some wonderful views of the place. This photo is Balingasag's famous bay walk. During weekend nights,
' the place would be crowded by tourists who wants to spend the night with friends. They call it night cafe. Sir Loel said that chairs will be lined up in the vast concrete floor. That activity is supported by their local government unit.

Many people come here during weekdays too, just like the group of people that photo bombed us.
The walk was fun, and this is the farthest place that I have been into in this part of our island in Mindanao. During our quick stay on the place and on our travel, we had a lot of smiles, them being excited about their get way event and me, on my escapade that day. I can feel that the baby inside me is happy too, he has been kicking a lot and it MadeMeSmile.

And oooh, by the way, let me tell you who I am with in this walk, on the first photo, the man who has his hands on his waist is Sir Loel, our plant manager. The one with shades is sir Greg, the lady in black is miss Irene and I am that on the brown shirt. I feel so beautiful in this photo, char hehe. kidding.
