Nanay Sews ripped clothes
Coming home from work, I saw Nanay sewing her grandchildren's clothes on the sofa. Her five grandchildren are living with her because the mother was working abroad as an OFW, the kid's father left them for another woman.
My three kids stay with her during day time when my husband and I goes to work from Monday to Saturday. My kid's clothes are some of what she is sewing.
Ever since she retired from being a Barangay Health Worker, she had lots of time to do what she wanted to do. She does her garden in her time and in her pace, she does not want any help because what she planned for will not happen exactly so we let her do anything, just wait for her to call the kids and make them do something.
I envy her for the time she had but I was thinking, what will we eat when I stay at home? I have been a stay-at-home mom for one and half years when my oldest daughter was still one year old but I feel like I'm dying because I feel so useless, I have graduated from a 4-year course but did not have a job.
If only I have known crochet at that time, I won't be wanting to go to work, haha.
I never knew how long until Nanay finished all her sewing, Her granddaughter, Inday says she would sew until 12 midnight all by her hand if she likes it. Imagine her courage and dedication.
These two photos were taken in a candid manner, She does not even know that I took photos of her. She won't allow me anyway.
So my bragging for my Mother-in-law ends here, thanks for reading my post. god bless us all. and take care
Hola amiga. Te digo que hoy en día eso es un trabajo, hay personas que no saben coser y acuden a las costureras para que le arregle la ropa.
