Snails, Birds, Banana, Drying the Corn and Motherhood Duties
Hello, everyone! I hope we are in the best situation right now. My son had been sick with foot and mouth disease and walking and eating has been very hard for him but in God's grace, he is doing well and I am hoping that he will be better in the following days.
Anyway, let me share with you these wonderful sceneries I have passed by when taking the detour route towards my workplace one day.
The morning started with an amazing view of this snail chow climbed up on an amakan wall on my mother's house,I was really fascinated with its appearance, snails usually come out ta night and they had been eating the plants on the garden and oftentimes tit was heartbreaking.
Then when I set foot outside the house and waiting for my husband to come, I saw these birds on an electric wire, my phone cannot zoom enough to get a good sharp photo but it's like once in a few times seeing them perch on a wire nearby so it amazed me.
Soon when I and my husband was already on the detour route, he felt a sudden call of nature so he stopped and peed, there were no houses nearby so it was safe and where he stopped was a huge banana tree that bore fruit; I suddenly miss eating boiled banana dipped in ginamos and chillies.
Not only one site had a fruit-bearing banana but also to part further where we stopped, my husband slowed down a bit thus I had the chance to take pictures even while on a moving vehicle.
Now on t he concrete part of the road, there were farmers trying to dry their corn, they used half of the lane and his workers were his family
It turned out that my husband knew the uncle and we stopped for a while to chat and convince them to sell to where I work and then bid goodbye to the because I am getting late.
All of a sudden I missed those good old times when I helped my parents dry the corn they harvested and what's hurting is that the rain comes in without giving us enough time to keep the corn. There was a time, when I was still in college, I went home from school just to help my parents, it was very sunny in the morning, we spread the maize on the solar dryer, then we made canals thru it to open a space for the sun to heat up the concrete and flip the corn once again to dry them faster.
Then lunch time came, we ate near the solar dryer and after a few minutes, we saw a dark cloud coming our way and it obviously bringing rain; I honestly blamed God for that, I felt neglected but looking at that incident now, all I could think about was that it was a challenge to test my faith. God never left me even for a second and He loves me more that I can imagine.
It's really good to see things that can remind you of what you have been through in the past and realizing what those events means in your life. have you ever experienced this also?
This will be all for now, thank you so much for your time and support. Keep safe and stay happy.
Saludos amiga. Tuviste un día lleno de muchas actividades. A esos caracoles aquí lo llamamos guacara, cuando estaba niña que lo venía, eso era una carrera jajaja.
