Snails, Click beetles, Birds and more!

Today's post is about the walk I had on September 21, 2021. it was along day but a great one.

I woke up early that day and so did the kids. They needed to relieve themselves after a long night. I left them to their father who prepared breakfast in the kitchen so I could hang the clothes that I washed the night before.

The I saw this snail resting in a piece of amakan, a thin pieces of bamboo that is interwoven to create a 4x8 flat piece used as walling. May people had been hating snails because they damage the plants by eating and cutting the stem.

These are the clothes that I have to hang to dry through the day. I'm always thankful to my sister who gets the clothes in the afternoon especially when it rains.

When we all went out to go to Nanay's house to leave the kids there, I saw these birds resting in an active electric wire. They must have been from a far place or the may be searching for food. They are so small that they can hardly be taken a good shot with.

We passed on this banana tree bearing unripe fruit too. It a little far from the road that we usually pass by. We have to stop in this area so Hubby can drive his motorcycle on the hard part of the road, more like a hump, and me on the easy part.

When I arrived at work, I saw this magnificent view from afar. The clouds has hidden Mount Kitanglad already and by the looks of it, it might have been raining there already.

Inside the office, I saw this huge click beetle who was peeking in the window.I wonder where might it came from. I remember when I was younger, some kids will get them from a tamarind tree by shaking it and then they will tie the poor thing and make it fly. Due to the sting in its neck, the click beetles will only fly around.

I used to play with it too, but only saying tando-lite and the beetle will click its head. its actually even called a tando-lite in our dialect.

I zoomed in for a clearer view.

When I was on my way to our canteen, I saw this wonderful view of the sky. It was actually very bright for me because I have a very short eyelashes. I wondered how the the V-like cloud formation look like so I came closer to the building's edge and saw another wonder.

these doves were living and feeding in our plant since 2018. There were just a few of them when we started here but now they quadrupled in number.

These birds likes to pick the fallen feeds and raw materials in the road.

When in the edge of the building, I had a full view of the sky and was contented that I saw the whole formation of the clouds. I thought it was more like of a fish form but only just a V. Cloud formations really amazes me.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a great day all of you.
