War And Refugees?

Let's have a hard, honest conversation about whom western nations end up feeling empathy for, and why.
Germany did welcome the syrian refugees in 2015 when the civil war in syria was on peek but the mood did shift against Syrian refugees after about six months.
Sadly, it's a very real possibility that it will shift against Ukrainian refugees as well. That's what tends to happen, by growing up, I saw a lot of hatred against refugees from Yugoslavia.
Will European countries, even after six months, remain more friendly towards Ukrainian refugees than they were towards Syrian refugees? Probably.
Does that indicate biases we should question and criticize? Yes.
