Zzap! (August 1990)

Cover of the August 1990 issue of Zzap!
While it did on occasion cover the Amiga, Zzap! was primarily a Commodore 64 gaming magazine. Sadly, it was only available in the U.K. (or at least it wasn't something you could find in the U.S.) I would have loved to have had a gaming magazine specific to the Commodore 64 but we didn't have anything like that. There were several great Commodore 64 magazines, just none that were exclusively gaming. The August 1990 issue of Zzap! includes:
Frequent Features
- Stick With It! - A round-up of available joysticks and other controllers, including the Wico Super Three-Way, Wico Ergostick, Professional 9000 Deluxe, Ultimate Rapidfire, Turbo Pedal, and others.
- In the Palm of Your Hand - A look at handheld gaming devices, including the Atari Lynx, Konami Handhelds, and the Game Boy.
- Music Maestro - An overview of some of the music software available for the Amiga, including Sonix, Track 24, Music X, and more.

Table of Contents from the August 1990 issue of Zzap!
