REVIEW INKBIRD ITH-20R Digital Thermometer & Humidity Meter Hygrometer

Today arrived, punctually as usual from Amazon, my Inkbird ITH-20R thermometer and hygrometer.
This is a small and very handy temperature meter with humidity meter. The device is about 6.5 cm wide and 7.5 cm high. The thickness is about 2 cm. Thus, the Inkbird ITH-20R is small enough to inconspicuously stand on the shelf and do a great job.

But let's start at the very beginning. In a small box (open without frustration) is the device itself, the instructions (in English, but you really do not need them) and a warranty card.

If you remove the device from the packaging, you immediately feel that it is well processed. It feels very stable and has a nice weight. On the back of the device there is a battery compartment which is easy to open and has to be charged with 2x AAA batteries. No sooner are the batteries in it already goes on the display on the front and you get the readings displayed. In addition, there are the keys to switch between Celcius and Fahrenheit, a clear key and an LCD on / off button. With the LCD on / off button you can, if you want, turn off the display. The device still measures. If you turn the display back on then you immediately have the latest readings without having consumed power for the display. In addition, there is an eyelet on the back for hanging on the wall and a small fold-out stand.

The front panel display is split horizontally in the middle. In the upper half is located in large the current temperature and right next to it the max and min values of the temperature.
In the lower half, the current humidity is displayed in large and also the max. And min. Humidity values are displayed to the right.

In addition, there are 3 moisture zones at the bottom: Dry Comfort and Wet. If a value is undershot, the respective area is displayed surrounded. Under 40% humidity you have a dry living climate, between 40 and 70% humidity and in addition a temperature range between 20 and 30 degrees Celcius you are in the comfort zone and over 70% humidity you have a humid living environment.

Due to the pleasant size, you have everything fully in view!

Especially the topic of humidity in living rooms is becoming more and more important, especially in new buildings and low-energy houses, the control of these unanguine to prevent mold growth (too wet) or damage to parquet floors (too dry) to avoid.

I'm totally happy with this device and would buy it again anytime. Prize 24.99$
