The concept of 7 Days to Die sounds super interesting but I've always had a problem with survival games. Even if they are filled with zombies!
I just get overwhelmed with having to keep track of my hunger/thirst meters and scavenging for materials. Personally I like my games to have a good structure with explicit goals. When they're too open ended I just end up losing interest.
Definitely going to be keeping an eye on this one though. It definitely has potential!
I can understand that quite a few survival games can feel quite overwhelming at the start. Even more so if you have a bad start and end up in some impossible to recover situations like how it happens in Ark.
I tend to go back and forth between wanting a sandbox experience and a theme park one. I do prefer to have goals and I just end up making my own when the game is a bit more open ended.
