Western Digital 4TB WD My Passport

After receiving the WD My Passport 4TB external hard drive that was released last month

I have been using the existing external hard drive for a while and I am unhappy with it.

It is usually sold between $ 90 and $ 100, but I was lucky enough to buy it at around $ 54.

I thought about it at a price close to half price, but fortunately I seem to have bought well in good time.

The color was only black, so I bought it in black and it seemed to be the easiest color.

Nowadays I'm working on YouTube as well as blogs, so I needed high-capacity storage for video editing.

It is small in size and can be used without an external power source.

There is Chinese and Japanese on the back, but there is no Hangul.

When you unfold the user's manual and a very bigger, USB cable is enclosed.

This product is very shiny and glossy, so if you open it comes with vinyl.

When vinyl is peeled off, the prints are very good, but the appearance is luxurious.

When the external hard drive is connected in its original state, the following software is included as standard.

I do not use it because I do not use WD software, but it is better to install it if you want to use external hard disk password.

I used the disk utility to format it as ExFAT for both Mac and Windows.

Although it is a relatively unstable format, I use the ExFAT method a lot because it is convenient to use Windows and Mac without a program at the same time.

I measured my WD My Passport 4TB speed

I was impressed by the speed that was faster than expected.

I am very satisfied with the speed of reading and writing than MicroSD.

I will divide the partition into 1TB for Mac backup and 3TB for video storage.

It is comfortable because of its wide capacity.

I think I should order an external hard case soon.
